I have the sad news to share with you and ask that you join me in prayer for his speedy recovery.
William Riggs who is 28, married with 2 little girls, is in the hospital because of fluid around his heart and in his lungs and a growth in his chest the size of a canolope which they said is cancer and maybe also will need his gall bladder taken out.
He had been feeling ill for two weeks and like more typical males, did not go to the doctor on the onset of the illness, on Thursday he tells me how he can't hardly breath, really labored, and lots of pressure and that there is a knot in his middle belly area. And there is a very tinger spot on his right side. He was not running any fever, and hadn't been eatting for over 2 weeks because it hurt him so much to do this.
I told him to go to the doctor, but he decides to put it off until the weekend so he can finish the work week out. He is the sole bread earning in the household and wanted to provide for the family. However on Friday, he finds that the cold weather doesn't allow him to breath and he finally goes to the Midwest Regional Hospital ER to see what kind of illness he has. And then he finds out how ill he really is, and he is currently in room 3347 3rd floor, awaiting surgery. This morning they drained another 2400 cc of fluid from the lung alone, making this the 5th time in less than 4 days, the fluid from his lungs so he can breath, then they will decide how to handle the fluid around the heart and the growth, I am asking for all family and friends to keep him in prayer while he and his family goes thru this ordeal, not only will this be tought on them medically but financially as well, as he had recently changed jobs and allowed his insurance to lasp, so this will be a financial burden on him. Not even considering the financial burden of providing a home and food for his family. He has a wife and two daughters that depend on him.
His wife doesn't have a driver's license to get around while he is down, they will be opening up his chest to remove the growth, and starting him on chemo this week. He worries about the utilites, food for the family, pull-ups for his daughter, school lunches for the oldest daughter (2nd grade), rent for them to have a place to live.
They are waiting to her if this cancer will be terminal or not, pending tests yet again. They do not belong to any church, but really need your thoughts and prayers, thank you,

This request is for a friend of mine & her family. He 11month old son was just diagnosed with Leukemia. They ran tests & found out is was the type Pre-B All Cancer. What that means is that it is the most common/curable type. Praise the Lord. He had a port put in instead of a central line, which is good. Be praying for them. they are talking with the doctor today about treatment.There's four of them: Vanessa & Jay (parents), Jaycie (sister) & Brock ( 11mo boy). Thank you all for your prayers & i will keep you updated.

Can you please have the congregation pray for Darci?
I am in the biggest spiritual battle of my life and have been on my knees for the
past three months, every day, almost all day long. I have never had such a heavy
burden to pray, or seek God out for anything/one in my life as for Darci. God
has been working supernaturally in her heart (and He has answered specific
prayers on several occasions), but she has a strong hold that needs to be
defeated. Please pray the devil and worldly influences are destroyed and she
accepts salvation. She is close to a decision! Thanks!
