Hi! Like many of you, I grew up in a home that was torn apart by divorce with a single mom doing the best she could trying to raise three ornery boys. There are plenty of excuses but by my choice and my choice only at the early age of age 13 I began drinking and doing drugs. This continued and would have continued for far longer if not for a friend who knew I had reached a low point and invited me to church.
The days that followed that invitation I came to know the Christ that would not only save my soul, but pull me from the addictions that plagued my life. At age 23 I surrendered to Christ and allowed Him to invade every area of my life. It was a first of many defining moments for me. God's call to ministry being the greatest. Now the goal through the many adventures of being a Christian is to follow Jesus Christ and do His will and magnify His name.
Today I am a lot older and hopefully a little wiser. I have been blessed to see what God can do with a old piece of clay. Looking back on my life it is truely a miracle; a real miracle. I have been blessed with a wife who I don't deserve Cheryl who loves me but loves Jesus more. She is truly a Proverbs 31 woman serving with me wherever we've been. Since 1992 I have had the privilege of serving in this wonderful Church and seeing people of all ages coming to know and grow in the Lord. I see the reality of the Words of Jesus in John 10:10 and have witnessed and experienced the abundant life that is found in Jesus Christ the Lord. It's been an amazing journey and this Black Sheep of the family knows God can change anyone and I mean anyone! Even you! Don't you think it's time to trust Jesus as Savior and Lord?! It is your choice...your choice...
Cheryl and I have been married almost 40 years now and are proud parents of two beautiful daughters Amy & Emilee. Although we do not look like it we are grandparents to four intelligent and healthy grandkids!
